This is a lovely scrap done up by a friend and I would like to share snippets of My Bug Life with you. The top left is a photo of me enjoying a cuppa ice cream in the Lake Gardens (Taman Tasik Perdana). The 92 ha Lake Gardens is the most popular park in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The Lake Gardens is still popular these days and the last time I checked, there were activities going on there - joggers, picnics, playground for children and wedding photography. My dad enjoys bringing the family for weekend outings at the Lake Gardens. One of the funniest memories of Lake Gardens was this childhood friend who used to hang out with my siblings and I. She was a spunky girl who wore just a T-shirt, a pair of kiddie "hot-pants" (seriously I thought it looked more like underwear and I still laugh whenever I look at my old photos) and flip flops. In a way she stood out from the rest of us who wore frocks like the one I was wearing in the photo. Over the years, families have moved away from my neighbourhood. Lost contact and no news about this childhood friend.
The second photo was taken in my home. As you can tell from the photo, everything has a retro look - the round grille patterns and my dad's old car in the background. I don't have details as to make and model of the car and my dad can't remember. So, it's just an old, retro-looking car..:D
The last one was photographed in a restaurant about two months ago and you can compare My Bug Life now and then. Any resemblance to the then photos?
I want to end this on a fun note so I shall make you play a guessing game. There are two musical instruments in the scrap. Guess which one I learned to play? Or maybe I didn't play either one.

Frankly speaking, there is some resemblance but it is not evident. But you look great at all those photos.

Yes, I learned to play the piano. I had expressed interest in the violin but never got around to taking up lessons.
