Cruising The Lake

It was a sunny day out. At Putrajaya, the federal administrative centre of the country. Located south of Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya derived its name from the country’s first prime minister (Tunku Abdul Rahman). The words putra and jaya means son and success respectively. These are some shots taken of the building fronting the man-made Putrajaya lake. I love the white sail-themed canopy covering the walkway to the building. The canopies compliment the structure of the building and gives an ambience of a marina with sailboats. Well..there is no marina here. Just a small jetty and boats set for a cruise in the waters.
