I shot my foot...with my camera. Finally learned the trick from a friend. The only thing I don't quite like about this photo are the lines on my foot. I know you must be thinking this person needs a pedicure...you are right as a girlfriend told me the same thing when I showed her an earlier photo of my foot.
As I was processing my photos, this shot brought to mind...the view from below. Don't just view life from below. View it from another angle...you'll see things in a different way.

Plants do grow in strange places. There are green shoots growing from underneath floor tiles in my house porch. And this one....green shoots from a wooden block with a tiny door.

The shot on your foot, the angle and perspective is interesting and unique, the lines showed that you are someone who traveled a lot, that's why you a Travel Bug !! :)

Nice photo of your foot. Every time I try something like that I ask "What was I thinking?" and end up trashing it. Is there a secret? What is it?

very creative photos, and interesting shots. i always admire your style of seeing artistry at different angles. i especially like the picture of flower viewed from below. but all are nice.
Thanks everyone for your comments and compliments. One thing I learned recently...is not being afraid to look like a "fool" when trying out new angles/perspective in your shots...I may have looked so weird bending all over the ground just to take my shots but hey...I see amazing results in the end. It was a rewarding experience. I try to ignore ppl gawking at me whenever I take shots from uncommon angles :)

The gumamela behind shot was really good! The colors and textures and what makes it a "flower" were all shown. Yes, being a shutterbug myself lets me explore and just click away. I agree that you see beauty in different angles. I also do the same taking my shots.

I like the analogy of the second picture - viewing the flower from a different angle. Life is like that too. We get a different perspective on things if we view them from another angle. Nice shot.

Thanks everyone for your comments and compliments. For my foot shot, I held my camera in a vertical position..very close to the ground aimed at my foot..no looking thru the viewfinder (impossible from my angle) so I don't know what comes out...surprisingly, I managed to get a good shot of my foot!
